II INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP ON BAYESIAN STATISTICS

Tras el éxito del First International Workshop on Bayesian Statistics, el GT Bayesiano de la SEIO se complace en anunciar la celebración de la segunda edición del mismo, Second International Workshop on Bayesian Statistics, que se celebrará los días 4 y 5 de junio 2026 en CUNEF Universidad (Madrid). Esta edición contará con ponencias invitadas de los profesores Stefano Cabras (Universidad Carlos III de Madrid), Sylvia Frühwirth-Schnatter (WU Wien), José Miguel Hernández-Lobato (University of Cambridge), Daniel Hernández Lobato (Universidad Autónoma de Madrid), Peter Mueller (The University of Texas at Austin), David Rossell (Universidad Pompeu Fabra) y María Dolores Ugarte (Universidad Pública de Navarra). Además están previstas diferentes sesiones para las personas interesadas en presentar un trabajo y sesiones para jóvenes investigadores. Las plazas para las distintas sesiones serán limitadas.
El workshop está financiado con fondos de la SEIO y de CUNEF Universidad, y la inscripción es gratuita. La información detallada para el envío de trabajos se puede encontrar aquí.

Following the success of the First International Workshop on Bayesian Statistics, the Bayesian Working Group of the SEIO is pleased to announce the second edition of the event, the Second International Workshop on Bayesian Statistics, which will take place on June 4–5, 2026, at CUNEF University (Madrid). This edition will feature invited plenary talks by Professors Stefano Cabras (Universidad Carlos III de Madrid), Sylvia Frühwirth-Schnatter (WU Wien), José Miguel Hernández-Lobato (University of Cambridge), Daniel Hernández Lobato (Universidad Autónoma de Madrid), Peter Mueller (The University of Texas at Austin), David Rossell (Universitat Pompeu Fabra), and María Dolores Ugarte (Universidad Pública de Navarra). In addition, several sessions will be scheduled for participants interested in presenting a contributed paper, as well as sessions aimed at early-career researchers. The number of available places for the different sessions will be limited.
